Press Command+F to find text everywhere
Press [Command]+[F] to bring up a search box that lets you find some text on the current page in any app.
Why this is useful:
When you’re reading a web page, a doc, or a note you’ve saved, this keyboard shortcut helps you quickly find what you’re looking for.
Other notes:
- The F is for “find”.
- The search box may look different depending on the app you’re using.
- This lets you find text, not usually images or other kinds of content.
- As you type your search, the app will usually highlight every result.
- You can usually press [Return] to move through the highlighted results, if there are multiple.
